Presented as a Lecture-Style Workshop:
These are our most affordable training programs, designed to introduce a subject quickly and efficiently. Students can take notes from the instructor's projected computer screen, and/or bring their own computer to follow along. Lecture-style workshops are normally held on weekday evenings from 6 pm – 9 pm and contain a maximum of 30 students (average is 8-20).
Who Should Take This:
Though not required, participants should have some experience working with audio recording and web technologies and should have a good working knowledge of operating a personal computer, either a PC or Mac.
Instructor:
Joe is the founder of Metafy, whose mission since 2003 has been to create tools that enable users to increase the value of the information available from the Internet. Joe's entrepreneurial background includes starting one of the earliest Internet-only radio networks, best known for the widely acclaimed and much missed freeform eclectic station GoGaGa.com.

Prior to that venture, Joe spent three years as a senior researcher at Apple Computer's Electronic Media Lab working with the R&D team developing technology, content and business models for the Apple Online Services divison.

Joe has also provided entertainment technology consulting services to large and small companies (ranging from start-ups to publicly traded companies), managed engineering and business development, and worked in publishing, broading and marketing for more than 15 years.

Participant Comments
Joe was terrific. It was very informative. A bit more technical than I expected. It left me thinking that I need to get more up to speed before diving in.
