Description:
Most editing today is done on non-linear editing
systems like Adobe Premiere Pro, making it easier than ever before to make your
own films. We'll learn all the basics of Premiere Pro, from how to set up your
computer to digitizing and basic editing. By the end of the class you should be
able to get your own system up and running and begin editing your footage. And unlike Final Cut, Premiere works on both Mac and PC systems! Using professional techniques, we will explore the fundamentals of compositing footage such as still images, video and sound. The fundamentals of video transitions and other visual effects will be illuminated and demystified. You will leave with the knowledge to create and deliver your own dynamic videos.
