Dive further into InDesign to unlock its full potential! From document-specific control, to automation, to finite export control, learn the techniques that will improve your workflow AND your final product. In this all-day session, we will look at how to set up a document for optimum productivity, learn some tricks for proper presets, then incorporate scripts and other add-ons to boost your workflow. Next we will look at using the power of GREP (t's not as scary as it sounds!) and other automatic text styling techniques, then finish up by looking at many of the output options available from within InDesign.

BDA provides Mac workstations for in-class use and are available on a limited basis. Students are also welcome to use their own computer with the latest version of the Creative Cloud installed. Adobe offers a free 7-day trial of the Creative Cloud.
Who Should Take This:
Designers and other InDesign users who have a basic knowledge of the program, but want to improve their workflow and take advantage of all InDesign has to offer.
What to Expect:
After this class, you'll have a set of productivity boosters that will improve your finished products and streamline the process used to achieve them.
What NOT to Expect:
This is an intermediate course, so we will skip the basic concepts and really dive into the "meat" of InDesign.
A working knowledge of InDesign's workspace, panels, and tools, as well as concepts such as text frames, importing text, placing graphics, and printing/exporting.

She is a speaker, writer, and trainer, focusing on Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, Apple Keynote and iBooks Author, and other print- and production-related topics.
