The 1964 Quarter Value is based on a couple of factors as opposed to the face value of 25 cents. In the vast majority of instances, individuals discover that the bulk of its value rests with the quantity of silver, which, due to the fact that this was the final year the United States produced Washington quarters made up of 90 percent silver, was used. Most collectors mean condition, mint mark (no mint mark versus Denver mint mark (D) and grading when they are referring to 1964 Quarter Value. Coins of circulated grade are usually sold at relatively small premiums but high grade or rare coins may sell at vastly higher premiums.
