Moved to Al Samhah about seven months ago and I’m still figuring out which services are actually accessible from this side of Abu Dhabi versus which ones claim to cover the area but take forever to arrive or just don’t show up at all. The reason I’m asking is that my Nissan Patrol started showing that annoying slow crank this week, you know the sound where it eventually starts but you can tell something isn’t right, and I want to get ahead of it before it fully gives up on me. Back in my old area I had a workshop I trusted but that’s not really practical to get to from here. I looked around online specifically for car battery help in Al Samhah area and did find some information suggesting there are mobile services that actually cover this zone which was reassuring because I wasn’t sure if being this far out would be a problem. What I’m still trying to work out is whether it makes more sense to have someone come to me or whether I should drive it while it’s still starting reliably and get it sorted at a fixed location somewhere closer to the city. The Patrol is a big engine so I imagine the battery spec matters quite a bit and I don’t want to just walk into somewhere random and let them guess. If anyone is based around here and has dealt with this recently I’d really appreciate knowing who actually shows up when they say they will.
