The majesty palms do not like wet soil but rather damp soil. Water your plant when the top 1-2 inches of soil seem dry. This means watering once or twice a week, based on the humidity and temperature. Ensure that the water is drained away to avoid root rot. In winter, decrease the number of watering sessions by a bit because the growth rate of the plant decreases and the plant does not need much water to remain healthy.
