Khatu Shyam is approximately 308 km from Delhi and takes around 5 to 6 hours by road. The best route is Delhi to Rewari to Narnaul to Sikar to Khatu — NH48 for the first stretch, then state highways onwards. Roads are smooth and well maintained throughout.

Leave Delhi by 4 AM to reach Khatu Shyam by 9 to 10 AM, complete darshan comfortably, and return the same evening.

Nearby places worth visiting on the same trip are Salasar Balaji temple which is 70 km from Khatu, Ringas town which has a beautiful Shyam temple, and Sikar city which has several heritage havelis worth a quick stop.

For groups of 10 or more, a tempo traveller on rent in Delhi is the most practical option for this route — comfortable, flexible and cost effective per person
