I’ve observed how fast the trends in online shopping are evolving in Singapore. While most companies have an online shop, it’s quite different from having a website and having a website that customers want to use. People generally expect quick page loading, easy product search, and a simple checkout process.
I would like to learn the opinion of those who have just started their online shop or redesigned it. Were you primarily concerned about the look and feel of the website or was the attention paid to other aspects such as navigation, mobile optimization, product pages, and checkout?
Also, I am interested in the question whether the specifics of local buyer behavior should significantly impact the layout. The design that is suitable for the audience in one region does not mean it will be good for the buyers in another region.
When researching ecommerce website design singapore, I’ve seen many different approaches, from simple stores with a few products to larger ecommerce platforms with extensive catalogues. For those who have built an online store, which design decisions made the biggest difference after launch? I’d also be interested in hearing about mistakes you would avoid if you were starting the project again.
