YTD stands for “Year to Date” and means that the total will be updated with each payroll that is processed. The YTD column will show the total earnings, deductions, and taxes for all of the earnings since the beginning of the year instead of just the most recent paycheck. After learning the YTD meaning you’ll find it easier to track your annual payroll data.
